Rooms
Penison - Bed & Breakfast - Käubler offers you six rooms tastefully equipped partly with period furniture. The total capacity for guests is ten. After a long day of sightseeing or an exhausting day of work, relax in the comfortable atmosphere of the former home of the artist. The rooms overlook lush gardens, a residential street lined with maple trees, and beautifully reconstructed houses from the beginning of the 20th century.

All rooms are equipped with telephone, wireless internet, cable TV (CNN, NBC, TV 5...) and a desk, and offer you a high-quality standard of living. You can choose between rooms with bathrooms situated in the rooms, or our lower-priced rooms with bathrooms situated adjacent to the bedrooms.

All guest rooms as well as the breakfast room are non-smoking rooms. Guests wishing to smoke can do so in the cozy hallway of the Paul-Poetzsch-House.

For the big and small appetite
You might not believe it, but many of our guests return for our lovely breakfast, which you can enjoy at our long breakfast table. Start the day leisurely with a cup of coffee or tea and a look at the newspaper.

For a comfortable TV night, you can find drinks and snacks in your rooms.

For bigger appetites we recommend the "Cafe Müller" across the street. This pub/restaurant is appreciated by both university students and professors, and offers an excellent and reasonably priced selection of Saxon specialities and regionally brewed beers.


Laundry
You need a freshly ironed shirt for your conference in the morning? No problem, we gladly do your laundry for you. Price lists are located in your room.
