University Campus
The Bed & Breakfast is situated directly beside the campus of the Technical University of Dresden. South of the city's center, our house is the perfect starting point for sight-seeing in Dresden's center. If you have to work at the University or at one of the Max-Planck-Institutes or Fraunhofer Institutes, you can reach all faculties as well as the institutes by foot within minutes.

How to get to Pension Käubler
If you come by car, at interchange "Dreieck Dresden West" follow highway A17 towards "Dresden" "Prag" and leave the Autobahn at exit "Dresden-Südvorstadt" towards "Zentrum". After approximately 2.5 kilometres turn left at the traffic lights towards "Universität" into "Mommsenstraße". After two immediate left turns ("Mommsenstraße" and "Zeunerstraße") you will see Pension Bed & Breakfast Käubler on the left hand side.

Alternatively you can leave the Autobahn at the "Dresden Altstadt" exit and follow the signs towards "Prag" (Prague). Turn right at Fritz-Förster-Platz onto Bergstraße towards "Universität". Turn right at second intersection into Zeunerstraße. If you come from downtown drive on the Bundesstrasse B170 (Europastrasse E55) and follow the signs for "Prag" (Prague). Then follow the instructions above.

If you come by train, exit the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) at the main entrance. At the bus stop under the train bridges get on bus #66 towards Coschütz/Mockritz/Gittersee and get off at the third stop ("Mommsenstrasse"). Walking in the same direction as the bus, turn right after about 50 meters into the second street, Zeunerstrasse. After about 50 meters you reach Paul-Poetzsch-Haus on the right side of the street. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk from the railway station to Paul-Poetzsch-Haus.

If you come by plane take the shuttle train to the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) and get on bus #66 (see above).

Public Transportation
The Paul-Poetzsch Haus is easy to reach by walking or by public transportation. The bus stop for the buses heading downtown is situated at the corner of Mommsenstrasse and Bergstrasse about 100 m from our Bed & Breakfast.. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk to the city's center.
